Anita Jones

I am the Advanced Practice Lead at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, with over 13 years' experience as an Advanced Critical Care Practitioner (ACCP) and more than 30 years working in critical care.

I lead the development of advanced practice through workforce development, education, governance and service improvement. Remaining clinically active within Critical Care ensures my work is grounded in the realities of patient care and the challenges facing today's NHS.

I am passionate about supporting trainee and qualified Advanced Practitioners, helping to develop a skilled, confident and sustainable workforce through education, regulation, supervision, competency assessment and mentorship. I enjoy working collaboratively, sharing best practice and contributing to regional and national initiatives that strengthen the advanced practice workforce and support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
