Our Advisory Groups
Our Advisory Groups help shape UK practice across all areas of intensive care and help us better understand the areas which need our support. They are the mechanism through which the views and expertise of each profession are represented at Council.
All our Professional Advisory Groups (PAG) members are members of the Society who have been elected by their peers, and they are responsible for:
- Providing advice and expertise in matters relating to their profession to our Council, through their Chairs and the Professional Affairs Division
- Promoting and supporting the work of the Society
- Electing their group’s chair and deputy chair to represent them on our Council
All eligible members are eligible to stand for election for our PAGs, which also provide a clear pathway through to membership of our Council. If you’re interested in the PAG representing your profession, you can find out more below.
You can contact any of the PAGs by email: PAGSupport@ics.ac.uk
