Get involved

Intensive care staff care for the sickest patients in our hospitals. Help us support them, so they can continue to care for us.

Your support enables us to educate and train staff, support life saving research, enhance guidance and standards, fight for improved rehabilitation for patients, and support ICU staff wellbeing when they need it most.

How we support those working in intensive care

Our fundraising activities are central to our work, and allow us to support our members and wider community in three major areas:

Thrive at Work Thrive at Work

Donations allow us to provide wellbeing suuport to our community, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Caring for patients during the greatest healthcare crisis we've faced in a century has taken an enorous toll on those who work in intensive care, and our wellbeing programme helps provide them witht eh tools they need to thrive at work.

Education Education

Learning is important to our community, so it's a prority for us. It promotes career development, and encourages the sharing of knowledge amoung peers, leadign to better patient care. It also allows for professional networking and the development of support systems, which promotes enhanced wellbeing at work.

Research Research

The COVID-19 pandemic illustrated more clearly than ever the value and importance of scientific research, adn donations allow us to fund and support research which advances intensive care as a specialty and improves patient care adn outcomes. It allows us to provide grants and awards, which allow researchers to commence larger research projects.
