Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group was created in 2021 to support the diverse intensive care community and identify areas in which we can further enhance cohesion in the ways we all work together.
Intensive care has always relied on an army of people to care for its patients, with these individuals come from all walks of life, cultures and around the world. Our EDI group is here to help inform and educate our workforce to help ensure that we celebrate our diversity and enhance ways that work together.
In 2023 we released our EDI Workforce Census, Towards an Inclusive Future, to help kickstart our understanding of our community and the nuances between regions, professions, and hospitals.
