Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group was created to support the diverse intensive care community and enhance cohesion in the ways we all work together.
Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group was created in 2021 to support the diverse intensive care community and identify areas in which we can further enhance cohesion in the ways we all work together.
Intensive care has always relied on an army of people to care for its patients, with these individuals come from all walks of life, cultures and around the world. Our EDI group is here to help inform and educate our workforce to help ensure that we celebrate our diversity and enhance ways that work together.
In 2022 we release our EDI Workforce Census [link to news statement] to help kickstart our understanding of our community and the nuances between regions, professions, and hospitals. This Census closed in September, and we will be publishing our findings at SOA23 in Birmingham.
