Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025
The stunning 13.1-mile route takes in many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Join us on 12 October 2025 to run for intensive care through London's gorgeous parks - a run with sustainability and a mission to keep London's parks alive.
If you or someone you love is admitted to intensive care it can be a time of considerable stress and worry. It may be helpful to understand what you can expect to happen in intensive care, both as a patient and as a relative.
Intensive Care is a multi-professional team, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, occupational therapists, and many other allied healthcare professionals. They are there to care for you, or your loved one, and to answer your questions while in an intensive care unit (ICU).
We support intensive care by:
- Providing wellbeing and psychological support
- Funding research in to intensive care to enable better patient outcomes
- Providing essential education programmes and resources
- Providing lifesaving guidance
- Facilitating the delivery of our rehab work to help get patients back on their feet
