This June we’re asking you to support Intensive Care Week by stepping into the shoes of an ICU professional and matching the number of steps they take at work in a month.
We asked a few of our members to track and report their step count so you can choose your challenger and get stepping.
Increase your fitness, boost your strength, and enjoy summer come rain or shine whilst feeling connected to nature, friends and loved ones. Earn Intensive Care Society shoelaces and walking kit when you hit fundraising milestones. Connect your Fitbit and Strava through your JustGiving page to log your distances and keep everyone informed.
We’re with you every step of the way, whether you’re taking on the challenge alone or creating a team – everyone is welcome!
Step 1: Choose your distance and get registered.
Step 2: Build a team – If you don't want to take on the challenge solo then assemble as many friends, colleagues, neighbours, loved ones and dogs as you can to join you in stepping up to support intensive care.
Step 3: Put on your favourite running or walking shoes and learn how to use your step counter, whether that’s on your phone, mapping the journey online, a pedometer or our favourite, using your smart watch. Then it's time to get those steps in! Head to the gym, go for a run, head out dancing with friends, do whatever you like to get in those steps!
If you hit our first fundraising target of £200 you'll receive our limited-edition Intensive Care Society eco-friendly polyester shoelaces
If you're fundraising's going well and you manage to mee to meet our next target of £400 you'll get our shoelaces AND a branded eco water bottle!
Smashing our big fundraising target of £600 means you'll get both the shoelaces and water bottle plus our branded running vest so you can take on your next challenge in style!
