London to Bruges cycle challenge

Book you and your cycling teammate in for our London to Bruges cycling adventure this September—just call or email Discover Adventure once you’ve booked to redeem your discount.

One thing to note: the discount can only be applied to the Full Payment option and the tour cost and can’t be used towards the registration fee.

 

Terms and conditions:

The discount will be applied once both bookings are complete and registration fees have been paid.

Room share requests and team name submissions will qualify bookings.

If a participant is already booked onto a 2025 trip and brings a friend who books in February 2025, the discount still applies.

Groups of friends booking together (e.g., 4 people saving £200, 6 people saving £300) are permitted, provided all bookings are correctly linked.

Are you ready to take on an extraordinary challenge and make a difference for The Intensive Care Society? Join a committed team of 20 passionate riders to embark on a stunning 4-day cycling journey from London to Bruges—Europe’s "Venice of the North." This unique ride will help us to raise essential funds to provide support to intensive care professionals across the UK as they care for the sickest of patients in hospital. 

 

The route

Cycle from London to Harwich, followed by a ferry crossing to the Hook of Holland. From there, journey through the breathtaking, bike-friendly Low Countries, crossing the marvellously engineered sea barrages and islands of Dutch Zeeland. Cruise into Bruges on quiet, scenic paths alongside beautiful canals and cobblestone streets in one of Europe’s most charming medieval cities.

Ride from London to the canals and cobbled streets of Bruges, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities and the ‘Venice of the North.’ A wonderful cycling experience through the bike-friendly Low Countries.

Want a spot?  

Discover Adventure will ask you to pay £149 to secure your place and from there you have a choice of two fundraising options.

1) Part Payment Option 

After you pay your registration fee, pay £250 towards the event and commit to fundraise a minimum of £1,500  to be visible on JustGiving ten weeks before the departure.

Roughly £750 of your fundraising will go towards us and £750 will go to paying for your challenge.  

2) Full Payment Option 

After you pay your registration fee you then pay £1,000 to Discover Adventure eight weeks before the challenge.

You’ll need to commit to fundraising a minimum of £250 for The Intensive Care Society.
