The Intensive Care Society is looking for five new members to join the Education Committee, helping to shape and support the Society’s educational strategy and outputs.

This is an exciting opportunity for ICS members with an interest in critical care education to contribute directly to the development, planning, and delivery of the Society’s educational programmes (Study Days, webinars).

The Education Committee oversees ICS’s educational portfolio, supporting high-quality learning resources, events, and strategic direction across the spectrum of intensive care. This includes multidisciplinary education, digital learning, and alignment with the Society’s values and goals.

Eligibility:

Open to members of the Intensive Care Society
Strong interest in education in intensive care
No prior committee experience required – enthusiasm and ideas are welcome

Role:

Contribute to the ICS educational strategy and development of learning opportunities
Attend committee meetings (approximately quarterly) and engage via email/MS Teams
Review and support the delivery of educational resources and events
Uphold and reflect the Society’s core values: Accept and Respect, Freedom of Expression, Collaboration, Quality.
