Sharon Barker | Occupational Therapist

Sharon is an Occupational Therapist at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. She has worked as a specialist in critical care since January 2020, where she developed a passion for early intervention, delirium and the humanisation of care. She also has a particular interest in neurosciences and cognitive rehabilitation including the assessment and care of patients with disorders of consciousness. 

She is keen to ensure that all professional groups have a voice and the opportunity to develop and influence skills, knowledge and working practices with the critical care environment.
