Brigid Sharkey | Dietitian

Brigid is the Lead Critical Care Dietitian at Barking, Havering, Redbridge University Hospital Trust (BHRUT). She works as part of a highly motivated multidisciplinary team across 7 units and 2 sites with 60+ beds. Clinically, her specialist interest is complex nutritional support post gastro-intestinal surgery.

 

AHP lead research is a huge passion of hers. She wants to demonstrate the value and importance of this and influence practice nationally.  Being a member of the ICS AHP PAG will enable this and ensure that members feel supported and recognised for their expertise and ultimately positively influence patients' critical care journey.
