The Intensive Care Society (ICS) and the Society of Intensive Care Medicine (Singapore) (SICM) have developed a strategic partnership to expand access to structured intensive care ultrasound certification in Singapore. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in enhancing critical care education and extending the ICS point of care ultrasound accreditation, FUSIC®, in its first formal international collaboration.
There are currently two ICS accreditations being offered in Singapore, FUSIC® Heart and FUSIC® Lung which provide a structured and standardised pathway for clinicians to develop essential Point of Care ultrasound skills, with an ultimate aim of improving patient care and clinical outcomes.
