Do you have a great idea for the future of intensive care medicine?
Are you currently working on a product that could improve the way we work in ICU?
Then our Intensive Care Society Innovation Network needs you!
Our Network uses our connections to bring you together with other like-minded individuals and groups, so we can all work toward a brighter future of ICM. Whether you’re an academic, a medic, or just have a brilliant innovation you’re bursting to share, we can’t wait to hear from you.
How does it work?
Our Innovation Network will host regular forums for participants to present, answer questions about, and get feedback on their ideas. These events will be held online for the foreseeable future and be chaired by Society Council Members Dr Shondipon Laha and Prof Hugh Montgomery.
We won’t be endorsing any particular innovation presented, nor providing advice, instead we’ll be give you the opportunity to let your idea shine!
Is this for me?
Our Network aims to connect innovators with one another, and with industry professionals who can help them take their product to the next level.
In order to participate in our forums you’ll need to fit into one of the following categories:
- Have developed, either as an individual or as part of a group, a viable product related to intensive care medicine
- Be part of an academic institution or organisation looking to work with our innovators to develop their concepts
- While participants must have determined their idea’s viability, they must not be currently employed by a large organisation currently operating in this space.
How do I register?
If you and your innovation meet the criteria above all you need to do is fill out our expression of interest form and email it to CommunicationsTeam@ics.ac.uk. We’ll then be in touch to invite you to our latest Network forum.
Protecting your product
All participants presenting as part of our Innovation Network do so at their own risk. We do not require participants to have patented their work already but do expect them to have taken appropriate steps to protect their intellectual property.
