Dr Katherine O’Neill has extensive experience of working as a Principal and Consultant Clinical Psychologist, specialising in working within medical contexts with both staff and patients. She is currently developing a clinical psychology service within a busy critical care unit and, since the pandemic, has worked as an associate with the ICS as part of their staff support programme. She has recently been involved in developing a service for colleagues across an acute NHS trust, with a predominant focus on anticipatory interventions to help buffer the impact of working within healthcare and on supporting and developing leaders. She has a longstanding interest in developing cohesive and supportive healthcare teams, has led the development of award-winning services for patients with long term physical health needs and provides leadership development coaching in both the NHS and private sectors.
