Sarah Marie Cooke

Sarah was elected to the Pharmacy Professional Advisory Group of the Intensive Care Society in 2021, and represents the PAG on the Intensive Care Society’s Education Committee.

Sarah has worked in the hospital Pharmacy sector for 20 years, commencing her critical care pharmacy career in Adult & Paediatric ECMO in 2009. She is now an Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner in Intensive Care at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, and the clinical lead for a team of pharmacists and technicians, covering Intensive Care, Theatres, Anaesthetics, Pain and Sleep, across the three Leicester Hospitals.

Sarah has a broad range of clinical experience, which she is keen to expand on through her Advanced Practice journey, and is an active member of the national ECMO Pharmacists Group, and the East Midlands Critical Care Pharmacy Network.
