Nisha Bhudia
I have practised as hospital pharmacist for 29 years, 21 of which have been in critical care. It has been challenging and has nurtured my professional and personal maturity. I have developed into my role as the lead to provide information and guidance to healthcare, other professionals, and stakeholders to ensure safe and effective treatment for patients by working within multidisciplinary teams
I have gained a range of specialist clinical expertise in cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, heart and lung transplantation, mechanical support (VADs/ECMOs), critical care and anaesthesia. My special interests include implementing quality improvement projects and using technology to improve safety and efficiency of medicines management.
I want to be able to change the way of working, disseminate my skills acquired from experience and networking with national and international colleagues. I would like to promote, encourage, and share developments, innovations, and new ways of working with all healthcare professionals to deliver services that provide a clear roadmap to improving the future of intensive care and much more.
