After qualifying from the University of Southampton in 2007, Clare has worked in several critical care units in London in a variety of clinical, research and leadership roles.
She is currently the Lead Nurse for the Barts Health Cardiogenic Shock Service which supports hospitals in North East London, with the aim to ensure equity for access and improve outcomes for patients in cardiogenic shock. Alongside this, she is the Lead Nurse for the Pan-London Cardiogenic Shock Board, working towards operationalising a London wide cardiogenic shock network.Consultant Intensivist
Segun is a newly appointed Intensive Care Consultant at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, with special interests in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), clinician wellbeing, point of care ultrasound, equality/diversity/inclusion, and online education. His real claim to fame is running an award winning wedding cake and confectionery business with his wife, Fehintola; he primarily functions as Chief Taster, and occasional Dish Washer.

Dr Carla Richardson is a Consultant Intensivist and Anaesthetist at University Hospital Birmingham and she is the lead for ecmo and ultrasound in critical care. She is also a pre hospital doctor and works as a MERIT Consultant with the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
She trained in the West Midlands, with Sydney HEMS, Australia and Guys and St Thomas Hospital in London.
Her clinical interests include respiratory failure, cardiogenic shock and mechanical circulatory support, cardiac critical care and point of care ultrasound.
