Clair Martin

I am an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Critical Care at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. My particular interests are in complex ventilator weaning and rehabilitation, supporting patients throughout their recovery journey from critical illness in the ICU through to rehabilitation in the community.

I am passionate about advancing physiotherapy practice within critical care and improving outcomes for patients and their families. Alongside my clinical role, I am the ACPRC Critical Care Champion, with interests in education, service development, research, and supporting the development of the future critical care workforce. I am committed to promoting evidence-based practice and collaborative working across the MDT to enhance patient care and recovery.
