Reena Mehta

Reena is a Consultant Pharmacist in Critical Care at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London and Chair of the Intensive Care Society’s Learning Division.  She was previously Chair of the Intensive Care Society’s Pharmacy Professional Advisory Group and is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Intensive Care Society.

 

The ICS has a strong ethos around multi-professional networking and collaboration.   I hope by being part of the pharmacy PAG we can represent the pharmacy profession, lead on national policies around pharmacy strategy & workforce, as well as input into clinical guidelines regarding medicines management.   We want to ensure there are learning opportunities for all groups that work in pharmacy as well as provide all professions education and teaching relevant to medicines use, efficacy and safety.  Supporting research output is also pivotal to our role.  We hope to be a voice for the Society’s vision for the future of Intensive Care
