The society recognises the importance of multi-professional teams in intensive care and how each of those people are essential to the delivery of patient care. We also understand that in order to to help shape the future of our specialty we need to make sure that everyone has a voice at the table, so we created our Professional Advisory Groups (PAGs) to do just that.

Our PAGs help shape UK practice across all areas of intensive care and support regional connections and networks between the Society and the intensive care community to enable us to better understand their needs and identify the areas which need our support.

PAGs will also play a vital part in delivering our of 2020 and beyond work which provides a clear roadmap to improving the future of intensive care and much, much more....

It also provides you with a clear pathway to stand for ICS Council which can lead all the way up ICS President.

In addition to the PAGs, there are four wider ICS divisions ready to welcome your involvement. These include learning, research, public affairs and Standards. To learn more about these and our plans for the future, please have a look at Your Society - our Strategy 2019 - 2023.
