Your Nurses Advisory Group Update
We recently welcomed several new members, bringing fresh perspectives and experience to the group. We are pleased to now be at full membership and look forward to the contributions our new colleagues will make. You can see all the members of our Nursing Advisory Group here.
A key focus over recent months has been supporting the review of learning resources within the Learning Portal, helping to ensure content remains relevant, accessible and valuable for the critical care community. This work remains ongoing as members continue to review the content and provide feedback.
The group is also looking ahead to the next phase of its development, with nominations and elections for the Chair and Deputy Chair roles due to take place soon. We look forward to supporting new leadership opportunities while continuing to contribute to the work of the Intensive Care Society and the wider critical care community.
Meanwhile, Mel has been busy coordinating a webinar for the Inside ICU series, Connecting Across Cultures: Practical Communication Skills for Critical Care Teams, taking place on Thursday 26 November from 12:00 to 13:00. Delivered by Acrobat Global, the session will explore practical approaches to communication across diverse teams and cultures and promises to be an engaging and valuable learning opportunity for critical care professionals. One not to miss.
Finally, remember that NPAG is here for you.
Please feel free to reach out with your thoughts, experiences or suggestions. We are representing you, yes you, and your voice helps guide the work we do.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement with the Intensive Care community.
