Psychological Impacts of Covid 19 on Staff: Research Updates

In this webinar, we will hear about three key studies researching psychological adversity in intensive care staff during the pandemic.  

Study 1: a cross-sectional survey of the mental health of staff working on intensive care units during the COVID-19 pandemic. Presented by Professor Neil Greenberg, Professor of Defence Medicine and clinical and academic psychiatrist based at King's College London.

Study 2: CANDID: Critical Care and re-Deployed Nurses: the impact of COVID-19 on work-related stress. Presented by Professor Dianne Dixon, Professor of Health Psychology at the University of Aberdeen and Dr Janice Rattray, Honorary Reader, School of Health Sciences, University of Dundee.

Study 3: GAINS: a brief Gameplay intervention to help intrusive memories as a result of working clinically during the pandemic.  Presented by Professor Emily Holmes, Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden, and Dr Lalitha Iyadurai, Senior Research Clinical Psychologist.
