Inside Intensive Care: Real World Stories in Implementing Continuous Beta-lactams in Critical Care

Join us for a series of events organised by our Pharmacy Professional Advisory Group.

This 90-minute interactive session examines real-world implementation of continuous β-lactam infusions in critical care, linking PK/PD evidence to bedside practice. It reviews rationale for continuous infusion, including augmented renal clearance, loading doses, and switching strategies. Implementation science frameworks (CFIR and RE-AIM) are introduced to support translation into practice. A multidisciplinary panel shares experiences and barriers, with active delegate participation and audience questions, concluding with practical take-home messages for local application.

Chairs: Reena Mehta and David Sapsford
