Senior Lead Clinical Pharmacist, The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Nic is a consultant-credentialed pharmacist who leads the perioperative and critical care clinical pharmacy team at Newcastle Hospitals. She has worked in the speciality for over 20 years, setting up the critical care services for two Trusts, as well as the clinical pharmacy service to Nightingale NE. She spent a year working in Namibia developing the clinical pharmacy teaching on their first undergraduate pharmacy course and later building a postgraduate course.
Nationally, Nic was involved with the UKCPA critical care pharmacy expert practice steering group for many years, including their development of critical care pharmacist credentialing. With the group’s evolution, she has since been co-chair of the national Adult Critical Care Pharmacy Leadership Forum,and currently represents pharmacy on the ODN Network Leads meetings, and is chair of the ODN Pharmacist Network Leads group.

Natasha has working within the specialism of intensive care medicine since 2017. In March 2025 she relocated to Cornwall to take the Consultant Critical Care Pharmacist post and is current undertaking credentialling.
Natasha is one of the pharmacist members of the ICS professional advisory group and is the current pharmacist representative for the education committee.

NIHR Doctoral Fellow and Expert Pharmacist Critical Care, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
Chris is a senior pharmacist with extensive experience in intensive care medicine. He is currently undertaking a doctoral fellowship with National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) focusing on protocolised sedation in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) patients. He is employed by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust providing pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London.
He holds national leadership roles including Deputy Chair of the Pharmacy Professionals Advisory Group for the Intensive Care Society and is Chair of the UK ECMO Pharmacist Group. He is research active and has published several peer reviewed articles on ECMO sedation and pharmacy workforce.
