Ben is a post-CCT fellow in critical care and anaesthesia at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He completed a PhD in AI for healthcare at Imperial College London, and his research focuses on extracting human-interpretable patterns from routinely collected healthcare data to predict clinical outcomes.

Jessie is a deputy editor in chief of the Journal of the Intensive Care Society, associate editor of the British Journal of Hospital Medicine and the lead ICM editor for the Oxford Specialist Handbook of Neuro Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. She is an Intensive Care consultant in Plymouth and the Chief Investigator of the NIHR funded DAYDREAM study.

Education

Anaesthetic and ICU Trainee, North-East London
Neha is an anaesthetic and ICU trainee in North-East London. Her subspecialty interests are hepato-pancreatio-biliary anaesthesia and liver critical care and she is currently completing a fellowship in liver transplant and HPB anaesthesia at the Royal Free.
She has strong interests in quality improvement and research. Highlights have included: the publication of the first systematic review looking at the evidence base for analgesic strategies in patients undergoing emergency laparotomy and leading a national awareness campaign, with the RCOA, focused on safeguarding women from the risks of contraceptive failure following sugammadex administration.
She is an associate editor for the Journal of Intensive Care Society (JICS) and is part of the newly assembled JICS Education team. (JICS Education which will be launching to coincide with SOA26 so stay tuned.)
