Hands-on workshop
Interactive workshop led by Professor Mervyn Singer, Professor of ICU Medicine at University College London – specialising in sepsis, multi-organ failure and haemodynamic monitoring. (He also co-chaired the Sepsis-3 international definitions task force.)
Professor Singer will be giving a lecture covering the bio-physics of oesophageal Doppler followed by a number of specific case studies which demonstrate “real world” usage cases where oesophageal Doppler helped guide clinicians to optimal patient care. The lecture will be followed by a hands-on training session incorporating the use of mannequins to finesse the practical use of Oesophageal Doppler.
Join this workshop to learn more about Oesophageal Doppler waveform morphology, parameter interpretation and subsequent patient management.
