Council Nominations

Get your nominations ready for our national council elections!

Our elected Council members are made up of representatives from across the multi professional intensive care team.

We are now looking for four members of the Intensive Care Society to join our Council.

These roles are open to any eligible member in the Intensive Care Society’s membership. Members eligible to stand and vote are those with ICS membership which excludes associate, student and overseas members.

Elected Council are integral to the successful delivery of the Society’s strategy 2023-2027.

How to nominate

To complete your nominations please follow the steps below.

  1. Complete our online nomination form.
  2. Include details of both a proposer and seconder. Both must be Society members.
  3. Make sure you're satisfied with your 200-word written statement explaining your motivation to join our Council. This will be the statement your colleagues see, so make sure you're happy with it!
  4. Declare any conflicts of interest.
  5. Send us a headshot and brief biography (2-3 sentences) to communicationsteam@ics.ac.uk

Please submit the form by 10am on Wednesday 26 June 2024.

If more than four successful nominations are received we will then move to an election period in July.
