SUMMARY:Fire safety & emergency evacuation guidelines webinar
DESCRIPTION:The Intensive Care Society and the Association of Anaesthetists have recently published new guidelines about fire safety and emergency evacuations of Intensive Care Units and operating theatre suites. In this webinar we will discuss these new guidelines, look at the issue of oxygen enrichment of the ambient air in clinical areas where high oxygen flow rates are used and and hear from a clinical psychologist about strategies to help look after frontline staff involved in a fire or similar event. We will then have plenty of time for discussion and questions from the listeners, with a multidisciplinary panel made up of ICU doctors and nurses, healthcare fire experts, oxygen specialists and a clinical psychologist.\n
