 The obstetric session will cover maternal critical care including the causes of maternal mortality and morbidity, acute liver disease in pregnancy, sepsis, pre-eclampsia, postpartum haemorrhage. The lectures will be delivered by an obstetrician, an obstetric physician, an obstetric anaesthetist and intensivist who all have expertise in managing critically ill pregnant or recently delivered women.\n
