The Intensive Care Society Responds to the Interim NHS People Plan
The Intensive Care Society welcomes the publication of the
Interim NHS People Plan
launched today (3 June 2019)
As the UK’s leading multi disciplinary critical care representative the Society fully recognises the urgent need to address this issue. Intensive Care Units are some of the most resource intensive areas of the NHS and require a high ratio of highly skilled and specialist staff for every patient around the clock.
The Society looks forward to seeing what next steps are put in place, including the costing element of how this will be implemented.
